The project of the new BBVA bank headquarters is the execution of a large corporate complex consisting of several buildings of three floors above ground and a high-rise building of almost one hundred meters. The low buildings are three-storey buildings above ground level which extend over the entire plot adapting topographically to the terrain. The complex is connected through a large square from which the high-rise building is born. This building has 19 floors and a curved silhouette. The main use of the buildings is for offices, although it also has first floor restaurant areas, an auditorium and a press room. Between each office building there are numerous living areas with vegetation and irrigation ditches that are used as meeting and recreational spaces. The materiality of the building is based on concrete and glass, although the exterior image is enhanced by the presence of louvers, which protect the office buildings from solar radiation. The building was built maintaining part of the structure of several existing buildings, on which the new program was adapted by demolishing the previous structure and building new structures to connect the different volumes.
