As a consequence of the new needs that have arisen after the pandemic, an open residential building is proposed, in which the relationship with the outside is encouraged. A building with large terraces that connect it with the nearby green areas and that in turn establish a perspective relationship with the Sierra de Madrid that can be perceived on the horizon. All homes are exterior and respond to the day-night zoning scheme. Day area, composed of living rooms and kitchens, and night area, with bedrooms and toilets, this simple distribution generates excellent interior functioning. Each one has an air recovery system that guarantees sustainable comfort in the home. Furthermore, its staggered shape achieves the objective of generating large terraces, high-value outdoor living spaces that are linked to the home through the day area and manage to increase the value of each one. The design of the common spaces has been taken care of in detail. The entrances, the gourmet space and the pool area are connected by garden spaces of great spatial and landscape richness. Finally, for the generation of domestic hot water and heating, a sustainable production system such as geothermal energy has been chosen. This, together with the watertightness of the façade and the efficiency of the rest of the facilities, generates high energy efficiency and obtaining an A Energy Rating.
